He also begins to see, for the first time, the role his mother had played with his father in co-creating the family environment that had been so damaging to him as a child. Once again, he finds life calling him to look more deeply into himself, and when he does, he discovers he's still carrying a big secret from his childhood, a secret he didn't even know he had.
